España da un paso adelante para establecer un proyecto de ley Internet respetuosa del derecho de autor
La inminente presidencia de la Unión Europea y los intercambios con el Gobierno de Estados Unidos, han acelerado la voluntad del Gobierno para la creación de una ley que proteja los contenidos culturales en Internet. Así, el Ejecutivo ha aprobado una Comisión interministerial (formada por ocho ministerios) para impulsar la lucha contra la vulneración de la propiedad intelectual en Internet y presentar un acuerdo de proyecto de ley antes del 31 de diciembre.
Dentro de este contexto clave, la Coalición de Creadores e Industria de Contenidos* y CoPeerRight Agency presentaron en Madrid el informe “Parasites Business”, en el cual se presenta una lista de 200 webs de descargas ilegales activas en el mercado español.
El informe analiza a su vez las estrategias de monetización del tráfico de visitas de estas webs que obtienen beneficios económicos al difundir sin autorización de los propietarios de los derechos, obras protegidas por el derecho de autor. El conjunto de estas webs, perfectamente organizadas, explotan al máximo las herramientas del e-marketing para generar un fuerte tráfico de visitas y obtener ingresos. Detrás, se encuentran grupos organizados, con jerarquías, que “califican” los contenidos y alimentan la escena pirata. Podríamos afirmar que existe una cadena de la industria parasitaria y que en este proceso, unas páginas webs se nutren de otras.
Sobre el informe presentado por la Coalición y CoPeerRight Agency, la prensa local, internacional y la opinión pública se han mostrado muy interesadas por la iniciativa, un punto de partida para alcanzar el equilibrio justo entre la libertad de los usuarios y el derecho de autor.

Y 25.000DVDs vendidos les parece poco?, no se que esperan, se esta haciendo campaña valorada en millones contra la pirateria, en realidad nadie va a pagar por una película en dvd si sus recursos económicos son bajos.
Lo que los autores deberian hacer, es ofrecer su contenido a la venta y también gratuito con publicidad, o bien algún portal en el que mediante suscripción mensual, se tenga acceso a películas y series.
